The box was a surprise gift, but my son already recognized Sam and Sofia from commercials and was thrilled to receive a penpal letter from them. That made the experience even more engaging. He especially enjoys the monthly souvenir — one memorable box contained a geode he loved. He also likes adding stickers to his passport to track the countries he’s learned about.
Many activities are kid-friendly and can be completed independently by children around eight and older, though younger kids may need some help. Reading through the materials together is a fun way to explore new places as a family.
