On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer spots, but there are a few favorites I’ve enjoyed before that still feel fresh to the valley and deserve a mention. One of those staples is Beaumont. I recently picked up a breakfast burrito there and it reminded me why it belongs on this list.

I appreciate Beaumont for many reasons, but the top two are convenience and freshness. If you spend time recreating along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before heading out. I love grabbing a breakfast burrito on the way up the canyon before a big ski day—the drive-through makes it fast and accessible without sacrificing quality. I enjoy quick burritos from many Mexican spots, but they can often be greasy and heavy, which doesn’t sit well when I’m about to be physically active. Beaumont strikes the right balance.

The Beaumont breakfast burrito features fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What elevates it further is the sauce—the creamy tomatillo escabeche-style dressing adds brightness and depth. A great sauce makes all the difference in a burrito, and this one delivers balanced flavor without overpowering the other ingredients.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a standout breakfast burrito. Their coffee and pastries are excellent, and the burrata salad is a must-try for lunch or a light meal. The cafe is consistent and reliable, whether you’re after a quick takeout burrito or a more leisurely sit-down experience.
A quick note about timing: great food brings crowds, and Beaumont is no exception. On weekends you’ll often see people gathered outside. If you just want coffee and pastries, don’t be deterred—it’s easy to run in for essentials or use the drive-through. If you plan to sit and enjoy the patio or interior, expect a bit of a wait on busy weekend mornings. The space itself is inviting, with a well-designed patio and a pleasant interior, making it a lovely spot to linger when time allows.
Beaumont’s combination of convenience, fresh ingredients, and thoughtful flavors makes it a go-to stop before outdoor adventures or a reliable neighborhood cafe for everyday mornings.
