This Pear and Brie Crostini is an elegant yet effortless holiday appetizer that comes together in under 15 minutes—perfect for unexpected guests or evenings when you want something simple and impressive.
We entertain often and love feeding people, but sometimes we need quick, beautiful dishes that don’t require hours in the kitchen. These crostini are my go-to when I want to spend time visiting, not cooking.

Crisp toasted baguette slices topped with creamy brie (or a vegan cream cheese for a dairy-free option), thin pear slices, a drizzle of honey, and a scatter of walnuts and thyme make for a beautiful combination of textures and flavors. Serve with a glass of wine and you’ve got a crowd-pleasing starter.
These crostini are ideal to have memorized for holiday parties or potlucks. They’re fast, attractive, and satisfying—exactly the kind of appetizer you want at hand when someone asks you to bring a dish.
