Please note this post does NOT contain affiliate links. I really liked the chocolate and created a recipe around this bar.
When Whittaker’s released the Milk Toffee Block, I had to try it. I enjoyed it so much that I built a simple baked-slice recipe to showcase its toffee-milk chocolate flavour.

Meet the Whittakers Milk Toffee Chocolate Bars in baked form: a soft, chewy toffee-like slice studded with chocolate chips and chunks of Whittakers Milk Toffee Chocolate. After baking, the slice is finished with extra Whittakers pieces that melt on top and a light drizzle of melted milk chocolate for extra richness.
You can watch the short video tutorial above to see how easy these are to make.
To get a genuine toffee profile without an overpowering molasses note, this recipe uses a combination of brown sugar and dark brown sugar. The balance gives a caramel-like depth while keeping the slice sweet and tender. Feel free to experiment with sugar ratios and tell me which you prefer.

These bars are baked in a 9×13-inch pan so the result is a thin, dense slice rather than a thick, fluffy bar. The goal is a soft, slightly chewy texture with a satisfying toffee bite.

I add chocolate chips to boost the chocolate element of the Whittakers bar, but they are optional. You can also add extra pieces of Milk Toffee Chocolate inside the batter if you want even more pockets of melted chocolate.

Right after the bars come out of the oven, place the remaining Whittakers Milk Toffee pieces on top so they melt into pools of soft chocolate. Finish with a light drizzle of melted milk chocolate and serve warm for the best texture and flavour.

If you try the recipe, I’d love to hear what you think. Share your photos with #lightscamerabake on Instagram or leave a comment.
