Burger Meat + Toppings

  • Ground turkey: Lean ground turkey keeps the bowl lighter; ground chicken or lean beef can be used instead.
  • Worcestershire sauce: Adds a deep, savory note to the turkey.
  • Oil & seasonings: Garlic powder, onion powder and paprika give the meat great flavor.
  • Greens and veggies: A base of green leaf lettuce and shredded cabbage with cherry tomatoes and sliced onion works well.
  • Dill pickle chips: A classic burger topping that adds brightness.
  • Shredded cheddar: Optional for a cheeseburger vibe.

Potato Wedges

Frozen fries work fine if you prefer, or use air fryer wedges for a quicker option.

  • Russet potatoes: Best for wedges—fluffy interior and crisp exterior.
  • Avocado oil: High smoke point helps the wedges crisp and carry seasoning.
  • Seasonings: Salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders plus paprika for a cohesive flavor throughout the dish.

Burger Sauce

  • Plain Greek yogurt: Full-fat gives the creamiest texture.
  • Mayonnaise: A small amount adds classic burger-sauce richness.
  • Ketchup & mustard: Provide sweet and tangy balance.
  • Apple cider vinegar & honey: Brighten and slightly sweeten the sauce.

Variations

  • Buffalo bowls: Replace burger sauce with buffalo sauce and add blue cheese crumbles or dressing.
  • Chipotle bowls: Mix chopped chipotle peppers in adobo into the turkey for smoky heat.
  • Mason jar meal prep: Layer sauce, meat and toppings in jars for easy grab-and-go lunches.
  • Sweet potato wedges: Swap russets for sweet potatoes for a touch of natural sweetness.
  • Frozen fries: Use oven- or air-fryer fries for convenience—seasoned waffle fries are especially tasty here.
